Yankee Dental Commits to the BCEC through 2030!

Yankee Dental chose to keep their annual conference and exhibition at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) through 2030, which means that the BCEC will have the pleasure to host them for the next 17 years!

The last Yankee Dental Congress, which took place at the BCEC in February 2013, drew more than 28,000 attendees. The event is the fifth largest dental meeting in the country and attracts dental professionals from all over the Northeastern portion of the United States.

The Yankee Dental Congress is in the TSNN Top 250 trade show list, with more than 90,000 net square feet and 467 exhibitors!

“For many years the Yankee Dental Congress was located at the Hynes Convention Center. With 27,000 attendees and over 400 courses, we had outgrown the space. We were sending our attendees to hotels all around the Back Bay area for their classes as well as on two levels for exhibits,” said Shannon McCarthy, Director of Sales for Yankee Dental Congress. “Now at the BCEC, we have one central location. Our classes are all located within the convention center and the connecting headquarter hotel, making it so easy for our attendees to get around. Our exhibitors are all on one level now with food courts right on the show floor, allowing attendees to spend more time to shop. This move has changed the dynamic of the Yankee Dental Congress. We are now more efficient and attendee friendly.”

The conference features advanced programming presented by leading professionals in the field. Attendees gather to get the latest industry information, network with colleagues, see product demonstrations, learn cutting-edge techniques, and earn continuing education credits.

McCarthy added: “Our attendees are discovering a whole new neighborhood of South Boston and are loving it!”. The South Boston waterfront has indeed a lot to offer. It’s a fast developing area thriving with new businesses, shops, hot restaurants, green parks, delightful harborside walks, and an ever-developing landscape.

With world class hotels and two state-of-the-art convention centers--the BCEC and the Hynes--Boston can accommodate any size event. Find out why Boston is such a popular destination for conventionsby visiting our website >>
